CANCELLED – November TNO
The November TNO is cancelled! We will see you in January!
The November edition of our Tourism Social Series 2012/13 “Travelers’ Night Out” is set for Thursday, November 22nd. Once again, like-minded travel industry types will convene with beverages in hand to share ideas, make plans to take over the universe and to have a few laughs. Come on out and say hello to your colleagues, new and old!
The party will be at The Office at the Gold Rush Inn on Main Street. Bring your summer war stories, the glam and the glitz and let’s start brainstorming for a kick ass 2013. Do you have any new projects on the go for next year? Looking for partners to help sell your trips? Have a new marketing idea and looking for others to buy into it? Bring your info and be ready to raise a pint in salut to a great 2012 season and towards an even better 2013!
Let’s use this social time to foster great relationships and to keep Yukon tourism industry moving forward.
As usual, start time is at 7pm and the festivities go until about 10pm. There isn’t a schedule, a fee or a hidden speech. Remember, it is always a cash bar!

October TNO
October already! The second event in our Tourism Social Series 2012/13 “Travelers’ Night Out” is upon us already. Thursday, October 25th like-minded travel industry types will convene with beverages in hand to share ideas, make plans to take over the universe and to have a few laughs. Come on out and say hello to your colleagues, new and old!
We are combining TNO with Tourism Industry Association of Yukon‘s annual Fall Roundup. After the Round Up, pop over to the Visitor Information Centre on Hanson Street for some libations and good times with your fellow industry people! Not going to Round Up, not to worry. Head straight to the VIC and we will see you there.

Fall colours in the alpine are announcing that it is time to resume the monthly fun known as Travelers’ Night Out! While our usual is always the third Thursday of each month, we are making an exception in September and will help ring in World Tourism Day in our own Yukon fashion.

April TNO!
The April edition of Travelers’ Night Out is being held at the Whitehorse Visitor Information Centre, on the corners of Hanson and 2nd Avenue.
We are combining TNO with the opening social night of the Tourism Industry Association’s Spring Conference but you DO NOT need to be an attendee to join in on the fun!
As always, there will be a cash bar. See you then!

March TNO!
Come on out to the March edition of Travelers’ Night Out! This Thursday, pop by the Airport Chalet on the Alaska Highway across from the airport for a casual beverage and great conversation with your industry peers. It’s on from 7-9-ish p.m.
Remember, this is a casual, no agenda in sight, networking opportunity for those working in some relation with the tourism industry.

February TNO
The location for the February edition of Travelers’ Night Out is set. On February 16, head down to The Office, a private bar located in the Gold Rush Inn. To access The Office, enter the Main Street entrance for the Gold Rush Inn, head left up the ramp and down the stairs to reach the party!
Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 7-9ish pm. Don’t forget to bring your business cards, fun personality and cash for the bar.

We had a great night talking Yukon tourism at the always awesome Yukon Brewing Company. About 35 people took back their social scene from frigid -38C weather and sampled the night away! Darcy gave us a great tour of the brewery and everyone appreciated even more their tasty beverages! Here are some photos from the night. Hope to see you at the next TNO on February 16, 2012. Happy New Year!
The January edition of TNO will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Yukon Brewing Company! Again, the times are 7 – 9 pm. Come socialize and catch up with your travel industry friends. While there, sample the newest beers on tap, or stick to your old faves, or try a delicious solstice martinis!

First TNO in the bag!
Thanks to all that braved the intense Christmas party season and came to the High Country Inn last night for our first TNO. We had a blast! Tonnes of new faces and a wide variety from all aspects of the tourism industry. Great conversations, lots of new introductions and sharing of ideas.
The next one will be on January 19, 2012 – third Thursday of every month! Location will be announced on this site shortly. We are just awaiting confirmation and I will post it on this site once we have the final word.
